Weekly Photo Challenge: Delicate

I’m back! My body is still aching from all the things I’ve done the past four days but I’m so ready to get back to my normal routine. And to start my week, here’s my share for this week’s photo challenge theme “delicate”:

IMGP3045

The dish is simply called “buttered shrimp” and it was one of the food we tried in Chikaan during our stay in Davao. The way the shrimps are arranged is so delicate and pretty. It made me didn’t want to eat it at all! 😀

I’ll be writing my Davao travel diary soon so stay tuned and have a happy week everyone! 😀

Weekly Photo Challenge: Reflection

I’m kinda bummed out that I don’t have new pictures and there’s hardly anything inspiring in my immediate environment. So, for this week’s challenge, I’m pulling a pic from my stable…another of my oh so many sun pictures. Hope you like it!

Weekly Photo Challenge: Green

Took me a long time to decide what to post for this challenge. Turns out I don’t have a lot of greens in my photography stable. So here’s what I’ve managed:

Huge bats in the trees of Hundred Islands. Greenish water in a lagoon in Bolinao, Pangasinan. A random afternoon in green Tagaytay. Tall tree in Plaza Independecia, Cebu.

Ciao!

Weekly Photo Challenge: Renewal

We all get lost. We all get tired at times. We have different means of coping up. Some needs to travel. Some needs to pamper themselves. Some needs even others to remind them that they already buried themselves so deep in the ground. I think we all agree that every once in a while, we need to feel renewed. When I need it, I travel, I walk endlessly, I observe people but many times I’ve proven, nothing beats the renewal of getting back in touch with your faith.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Geometry

Are there semi-circles in Geometry? I hope there are, if not I’m doomed. Anyway, the very beautiful room above can be found inside the Long Hwa Temple in Davao City. I’ve always loved the architecture of Buddhist temples. It’s not something you always see in the Philippines so I’m  in awe every time I see one. 🙂

Weekly Photo Challenge: Big

I have always been fascinated by big trees. They’re certainly old, witnessed more than what my young brain could imagine, and will never tell anyone’s secrets. If tress could talk, I wonder what kind of beautiful or tragic stories they would share.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Arranged

The picture speaks for itself. I have a naturally OC personality. Case in point: I put my name on most of my belonging. Hope you liked it! =)

Weekly Photo Challenge: Through

Through with the formal education process. My younger brother graduated yesterday and I can’t HIDE my gleeeeeeee as on older sister! =) Congrats Miko! You deserve your achievement award.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Unusual

Coordination compounds. To a chemist like me, these may seem ordinary but to laymen who have no idea about electronic configuration of metals and the associated energies, these may seem unusual. Coordination compounds are basically organic compounds chelated or bounded to a central metal. Depending on the central metal, the color of the compound will change. Interesting isn’t it? And very unusual. =)
