I love silhouette shots. I love them more especially if they are taken during the golden hours (sunrise or sunset). At such circumstances, one need not be professional photographers to create beautiful shots. I hope I did the silhouette theme some justice. I have accumulated them (again) from my various trips in the Philippines.

good photos – excellent for the challenge – you did indeed do the theme justice… i believe we all interpret the world in our own way – that is what makes it magnificent. have a great week…and don’t stay up too late watching Asian shows! different way
Thank you for your kind words! And what you said is true, we can never run out of reasons to appreciate the world because each moment or angle can hold a variety of interpretations. 🙂
And don’t worry, I rarely sleep late these days. 🙂 Age is catching up on me! 🙂
Very gorgeous silhouette shots! Right place at the right time… I can never seem to get decent silhouette shots. I love the first photo: simple, but with a golden sky in the background. The skies in all the shots look cloudy. Is it cloudy most of the time in the Philippines?
Haha! That’s the second time you asked me about clouds. 🙂 It’s sunny most of the time in the Philippines. Some days with clouds, some days with clear skies. 🙂
Yes, I had to ask for a second time because your photos always show clouds! And each Asian country I’ve visited, it’s always cloudy. Very hard to believe there are clear skies in the Philippines 😀
And I find it unusual that find it interesting that Asian countries have cloudy skies! Ha! Why? Is Australian skies clear most of the time?
Oh yes. In summer, Melbourne has a lot of cloudless blue skies. On those days, the sun is very, very hot. After standing under the sun for ten minutes, your skin might feel like it’s being cooked 😀
So summer here and there is pretty much the same. Our summers can reach 36-37 deg C.
That is hot. Hot summer indeed. Exactly like Melbourne. I hope you drink a lot of cool drinks then 🙂
